The CT4EU Campaign has been launched by UIRR, the industry association of the intermodal sector in Europe, to deliver the message to the EU, Member State and regional decisionmakers, economic actors and the general public that when it comes to longer distance inland freight transport door-to-door Combined Transport is not only a viable alternative to unimodal road haulage, but it can be an effective solution for decarbonisation, pollution and congestion reduction, as well as truck driver shortage and to mitigate the EU’s dependency on external sources of energy.
